Yes, I chose to spell it that way.  First, let me apologize for my absence in blogging this past week, I completed three thesis papers…tonight!  I am certain that is enough explanation.  I am not sure who else out there feels the way I do sometimes… where there is too much expected and not enough week to do it all.  Certainly we all do… BUT without sounding too spiritual, I just want to say that “nothing is impossible”.  Let me share my little pick me up that I ran into this weekend.

This week I want to talk about a few points from a book that our Senior Pastor Corey Naquin purchased for all the staff, Everyone Communicates, Few Connect (by John Maxwell). If you own the book, I would suggest pulling it out and going through it with me as I travel this incredible journey via a blog site.

So, tomorrow starts a new day and let me tell you where it will begin; Failure to value everyone.  That will be our starting point.  The fourth step in building a team is to build relationships.  In order to develop the right kind of relationships, you have to learn how to relate.  In other words, no one is going to care what you want them to do, unless you first let them know their value to you.

Sorry this one is short, but it is first time in about 8 weeks that I can get to bed before 11pm, and I am taking it.
